#top50tacos: con huevos (san antonio)

Hit this place on the way down to Brackettville for a water event. Con Huevos immediately put me in a good mood because right there, at the front, was a sweet tortie bodega cat!

Texas Monthly mentions (recommends?) the Carmen (potato and eggs scrambled, cheddar cheese, avocado, cilantro, side of ranchera salsa), which was git-dang good (and the tortie enjoyed snips of eggs I gave her). I also tried the Vicki (refried beans, cheddar cheese and crispy bacon). My traveling partners ordered the Lupe (homemade spinach and cactus corn tortilla, calabaza a la mexicana, black beans, cilantro, queso fresco with creamy serrano salsa) and the Rodeo Deshebrada (refried beans, spicy shreaded braised beef brisket guisado, lettuce, and tomato). They seemed pleased!
