Puff's Pastrami Philly is the star of the show since the pastrami is expertly house smoked and as tender as late-stage Elvis Presley.

That cat loved pizza but would go BONKERS for East Side Pies’ pepperoni and roasted green chile.

We both wow’d the lasagna, a baptism of immersive tomato flavor and lavish cheese-and-beef richness.

The beef sandwich with the umami jus is like taking a ride through the Tunnel of Love at the state fair...

Impressively, with all that has been going on (pandemic, threats to democracy), brave souls are opening new restaurants.

So this is a little art project I call "99 masks" of masks I photographed in situ while picking up litter during my daily strolls.

Call it what you will (covid fatigue?), but we finally ventured out and ate at a restaurant for the first time since March...

All in all, Kinda Tropical has created something kinda special, the non-pretentious lo-fi/hi-fi combo that we love so much.
